I am leaving my old website, perryprojectmusic.com, for this one. perryprojectmusic.com will no longer be active after March 23rd, 2028. There are various reasons for this. The number one reason is cost. It costs a lot of money to keep my website going. There are multiple fees. A renewal fee of the domain, plus a hosting fee. It can cost hundreds of dollars for a few years of service. The price keeps going up too. It used to cost $10 a year for a unique domain when I started this, it is now around $24 a year.
For example, if I were to renew for 3 years, there is a domain fee of $72 dollars and a hosting fee of $395. I simply do not intake that money from my music project. It is a passion and I know most will definitely understand my position, plus, who visits a musician’s website nowadays anyway? Not many. And if you do it’s maybe once or twice a year.
Substack (my new website landing page) is virtually free, for now. It just takes a lot of my personal time, which is okay. This is a passion project of mine and a dream. I dream big and will never stop doing it.

Liars, Fires releases April 8th, 2022
I am happy to announce a new EP that I worked on over the pandemic. It has taken a while but I can finally say it is finished. It will release on all major streaming platforms on Aril 8th, 2022. We are very excited for this one. This will be one of our biggest shows to date as we are playing the Fine Line Music Cafe in Downtown Minneapolis for the first time. Not only that, we are opening for Mark Andrew, a former contestant and favorite of The Voice and American Idol, who fronts “The Mark Andrew Band.” It is also an EP release show for one of our favorite acts to play with, “The Strips.” We hope to see you all on Thursday, June 30th at the Fine Line Music Cafe! Run Away Will Release Digitally On…
April 1st 2016!
No, this is not an April fools joke.
Perry Project‘s newest single titled Run Away will be released exclusively on iTunes, Amazon MP3 and the Google play store on Friday, April 1st.
This new single is a very important step in the band’s new direction musically. It represents the first song with contributions by the 5 new members who were officially added to the project in early 2015.
Run Away was recorded at Humans Win! in Minneapolis, MN. It was produced, engineered and mixed by Taylor Lewin. Run Away was mastered at Sterling Sound in New York, NY by Greg Calbi.

Last show of 2015 Announced.
Hey everyone,
We had a great / hectic / successful year full of positives. Our last show of 2015 will be at Wild Tymes in Saint Paul, MN on Friday, December 11th. A very appropriate place to end 2015, we love to play here! We appreciate all of the support from fans old and new. There has definitely been a fire lit and one that will continue to burn into 2016. We are not done yet and will have some new material to share soon…
